Desert Valley Testing (DVT) is a credible laboratory that employs industry educated and experienced chemists to ensure the most accurate analytical testing of your cannabis product. Our laboratory was developed using the laws and regulations governed by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for good laboratory compliance.
We believe it is important to help ensure the health and safety of consumers and to maximize the quality of our client’s products. To that affect, DVT uses science based methodology and chemistry for proper analysis of cannabis products for cannabinoid potency, terpenes, residual solvents, and screening for visible mold. We have the ability to partner with other local laboratories to analyze for heavy metals, pesticides, growth regulators, gender testing, DNA profiling and spore count analysis. Our laboratory utilizes a Agilent 6890/5973 GCMS’s coupled with liquid and headspace autosamplers for residual solvents and terpenes. We use Agilent 1100 HPLC’s for proper determination of potency on a wide range of cannabis products.

Tabitha has been an Organic Chemist for 19 years and has extensive instrumentation experience. Most of her career has been comprised utilizing GC, GCMS and HPLC. She provides only accurate and ethical data to your business. Integrity is of the utmost importance as she analyzes samples and provides critical information to the end user of the medical marijuana. Tabitha opened DVT ultimately for her passion in the product and educating patients on the importance of testing and providing accurate data to properly medicate.

Erin brings over 10 years experienced management background with small and large business structures with a focus on development. Erin joined the DVT team in 2015 as a budding company and was able to marry her background with a passion for education and progress in the cannabis industry.

Erin was raised in Seattle, WA. After college on the shores of Lake Superior in Wisconsin and majoring in biochemistry she spent time in central Alabama honing her laboratory skills in the pharmaceutical industry. After relocating back to Washington she fell into the wonderful world of cannabis by managing a recreational marijuana processing facility. Her role at DVT allows her to combine her cannabis knowledge with good lab practices to bring the best quality data to our customers. Erin lives in Phoenix with her adoring husband and daughter.
With several years in the hospitality industry, Sarai Allen, a Phoenix native, brings the goodwill and warm reception to the Client Relations position at DVT. In her role, Sarai maintains close communication with clients and vendors, her experience as an Event Coordinator and public speaker makes her job more passion than work. Sarai’s budding knowledge of the cannabis industry feeds the life long learner in her, she finds joy in sharing her knowledge with clients and colleagues alike. When she’s not busy at the office, Sarai enjoys the Phoenix nightlife or spending time with her family.
Kaitlynn has 7 years experience working in the client support field and is excited to bring her knowledge to DVT. Kaitlynn has an increasing passion in the medical cannabis industry due to her own experience with chronic pain and is proud to work for a company that’s dedicated to its mission of providing the most ethical and analytical testing for the cannabis community.
Buster is a recent graduate from Arizona State University with a B.S. Biochemistry. He has a strong background in analytical testing with 4 years of ASU lab experience as well as 2 years of microbiological testing in a private ISO A2LA accredited laboratory. Buster believes in the proven benefits of utilizing medical cannabis and is dedicated to educating others about such benefits. He feels privileged to be a part of the DVT team ensuring patients receive the quality testing of their cannabis they deserve.
Sachia graduated from Arizona State University with a BS in Biological Sciences. Coming from an ISO/A2LA accredited lab she uses the same quality techniques and standards in the lab at DVT. She is very excited about the growth and development of the cannabis industry and is proud to work for a lab that ensures clients are getting the same high quality testing for their products.
Terri graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a BS in Soil Science. Coming from an Environmental and Plant Science background working with regulatory entities in site mitigation for protected habitats, she has 8 years experience in the field and 5 years experience in a GLP laboratory environment. As a Study Director and Principal Investigator, Terri worked with terrestrial and aquatic plants with a focus on pesticide and herbicide toxicity studies. Terri is very excited to be a part of the DVT team. She supports the use of medical cannabis and believes that the sound scientific principals practiced at DVT will help to bring the best quality medical products to patients.

Kelsey is a graduate from Texas A&M, where she pursued her passion for marine biology, which lead to her interest in wet chemistry. She worked at multiple zoos and aquariums in the wet chemistry field for 5 years. She decided to change career paths to focus more on microbiology which led her to DVT. Kelsey is proud to work for a company with a strong mission statement that honors the work they conduct on a daily basis!
Diego graduated from The College of Wooster with a B.A. in Chemistry. He has a strong background in analytical testing with 2 years of experience in a research lab. Diego is honored to be part of the DVT team, helping to bring quality analytical testing to a rapidly growing cannabis industry.
Brandon graduated from CSU Northridge with a B.S. in Food Science, marrying both microbiology and chemistry together. He's been working in various lab settings for 3 years and most recently comes from an ISO accredited facility. He's elated to be part of the DVT team and bring the highest standards of quality to a rapidly growing industry.
Epi received his Bachelors of Science in Biology and Chemistry from Manchester University in Indiana where he developed an interest in organic chemistry. Right out of college, he began working with a fragrance company assisting in the manufacturing of fragrances. Epi took interest in organic chemistry further with this company by creating novel fragrant chemicals through distillation and reflux techniques. In 2015, he joined the Arizona Department of Health Services State Laboratory where he honed his skills in GC/MS, ICP-MS, and LC-MS/MS operation and maintenance. Epi is excited to be a part of the Desert Valley Testing team and to get to apply his analytical instrumentation knowledge for DVT and its clients.
Proudly raised in the Midwest state of Wisconsin, Gus comes to DVT with extensive experience in analytical method development and validation of chromatographic methods in the pharmaceutical industry. With a B.S. in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire, his passion for all things science recently developed into an interest in the cannabis industry with the hopes of delivering highly characterized and tested products for human use. With nearly 5 years of experience in a GMP setting, his goal is to ensure the methods at DVT provide accurate and reliable results as the cannabis industry continues to develop. Aside from work, Gus is currently working on his M.S. in Chemistry online with the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. He spends much of his free time exploring the Phoenix area with his dog and enjoying the company of family and friends.
